A Digi Page Of Grace

Oh my, this week is flying right by me. The weekend was like this too so I'm feeling like I have been living in a whirlwind for the past 7 days. My weekend was wonderful and so far the week is going good well too. :)

I made a digital page using a sketch from one of the challenges at Soul Scrappers. I used My Digital Studio to make my page. I absolutely *love* this program. I was using PSE to make digital pages but the MDS program is so simple and so much fun to use that when it comes to making pages it's the only program I use now. I'm not trying to sell anything, just giving my honest opinion. :)

I'd love to share a photo with you  that I took of Grace this weekend. If you follow me on Facebook or my at my It's All About The Journey blog then you may have seen it. I'm trying to decide which blog I would like to stay with so at the moment I am duplicating most everything on both bogs.

Grace will be 5 months old next week. She is so smart and such a happy baby. No smiles in this photo because she is watching her mother and that is a very serious job for Grace. :)

And here is a photo of my daughter Jen, me holding Grace and Molly my granddaugher. Mom to baby Grace. Between Wayne and I we took at least 600 photos. Way to many to share with all of you. So I chose these two. If you came by way of my other blog to visit me thank you very much for taking the time to do so. I hope to make up my mind by this weekend which blog I will be using.  You would think it would be simple to choose  which blog I want to keep going.......it's not for me.
I hope that you are having a good week with good weather and lots of summer fun. Thanks for stopping by.

Crock-Pot American Chicken Chop Suey

I made this very simple recipe last week for my husband,Wayne. I'm not sure if there is a recipe in a cook book for this dish. I just put ingredients in my crock-pot that I had at home and I knew that Wayne would eat. He is a tad difficult to cook for because there are so many things he does not like to eat. He is strictly a meat and potato man. Anyway, here is what I made for him.

Ingredients:

3 boneless chicken breasts.
1/4 cup of white cooking wine.
2 jars of pasta sauce. I used Parmesan Ragu sauce.
3/4 of a box of elbow macaroni.
Fresh Parmesan cheese.

Put sauce and wine in the crock-pot add the chicken  breasts and cook 4-6 hours.

I cooked the macaroni  in a separate pot but I'm sure that you could cook it in the crock-pot for the last 30 minutes of cooking.  I grated fresh Parmesan and put it on top of his American Chicken Chop Suey.

If I had made this dinner for myself all of the ingredients would have been fresh. But since Wayne does not like green peppers, onions mushrooms,  etc.... I made this dish the way that I knew he would like it and sure enough he loved it! Well at least I was able to use chicken and not hamburger. :)

Hodgepodge:

A mixture of dissimilar ingredients; a jumble
n. mixture; combination
a random mixture

Happiness:

1.the quality or state of being happy
2.good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy.

Why did I choose the name Hodgepodge Happiness as the title of my new blog?
I want my blog to be just that.......mine.  I want it to reflect who I am and all of the many things that make me who and what I am today. My journey has changed. My passions have changed. I never know from day to day what I will be doing or what it is I will be able to do. My life is a hodgpodge now and I find I'm liking it that way most days . :)  I hope you will stick around and join me in my Hodgepodge journey.
